ive seen one user exceed 75mhz before and had it working, without even realizing 75mhz was the rated maximumI'm doubtful if that could handle that sort of data rate though.
and dpi works at up to 24bit mode, so thats a lot more data
but the main downside of dpi, is that it will take a break during hsync and vsync, which both have a minimum of 1
PIO could easily do this, if you have a pi5, but might stutter due to dma and dram latency
so the question becomes, what goes wrong if it stalls for a moment and takes too long to output the next sample?
