Sorry, but I'm done with small SPi based displays as I've spend enought of my time in getting them to work and posting my results here.

Why do you ask for the connections? The GPIO usage can be found in that overlay (restet/dc/backlight), as well as SPI5 related (two chip selects in that use case).
From which GPIO one can use SPI5 can be found in the CM4 data sheet or in the RP1 data sheet respecively (although I prefer to use the table in the CM4S datasheet 2.2.2 https://datasheets.raspberrypi.com/cm4/ ... asheet.pdf)
SPI5 is on GPIO12 to 15 and GPIO26 (CS1). Will not bother writing which GPIO is what as that what specs are there for.
Your problem is fbtft overlay ...
