Great.

What I am trying to do is avoid the OS GUI being displayed but only display certain videos(MP4) and maybe custom message/GUI.

Is there a library or code example for this?

A friendly volunteer suggested -
Yes, here is an old Pi 1 (2012 ) [also worked on Pi zero] running Ultibo with an AV player, showing an H264 video with sound and an overlay showing 4 dials on screen (Volts, Amps, KPH, Watts)

A few seconds of research would find -
What is Ultibo? - https://ultibo.org/faq/
General
What is Ultibo?
Ultibo core is an embedded or bare metal development environment for Raspberry Pi. It is not an operating system

So if it isn't an OS you won't need to be concerned to "avoid the OS GUI being displayed"
