The trick to finding the info on the web is that right clicking is invoking the context menu. So searching for "add context menu items to pcmanfm" got me https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php ... 63#p516863
I tried it out on Pi4B 4G running stock RasPi OS Bookworm under Wayland and it's easy to set up.
FYI - the desktop entry file is saved @ ~/.local/share/applications

- Right click a plain text file in your home directory and choose Open with...
- Choose the Custom Command Line tab
- Enter sudo mousepad as the Command line to execute:
- Enter Mousepad as Root as the Application name
- Click OK
