I want to write a C program that makes my Pi discoverable as a bluetooth or USB device with audio sink capability, and runs a loopback of the audio it receives from either source to speakers. Problem is, modifying lots of configs and just letting libraries do the work feels tedious. Is there some way to just write a program that can interface with bluetooth, play audio through a HiFiBerry Hat, and use the GPIO pins without messing with an entire OS while also avoiding building an entire kernel like a bare metal system?
