- Post the output of The share definition is not enough.
Code:
tesparm -s
- Have you created a Samba user and are you logging in in as that user over SMB?
- More info on your drive(s) configuration:
- Is everything on the same drive?
- Is the shared directory part of the / (root) partition or in a separate partition? Or a separate drive?
- If a separate drive or partition what filesystem has it been formatted with?
- If a separate drive or partition exactly how are you mounting it? Via /etc/fstab, via the desktop's automounter, via, a systemd mount unit, some other way? (No, "mounts automatically" is not enough information)
- Post the output of the following:
Code:
ls -ld /media
Code:
ls -ld /media/crusader27529
Code:
ls -ld /media/crusader27529/4tbshared
