Thank you for the reply! I bought the official Raspberry Pi 5 8 GB kit. Ubuntu doesn't recognize the CPU of it btw (it shows empty on the Gnome about box, and on neofetch), but it does show it as 8 GB. I bought it from here: https://www.skroutz.gr/s/54336622/Offic ... =205235675 (the shop itself is called Nettop and I believe it's the official supplier of raspberry in Greece). The sbc came inside the case, with the fan already setup (it didn't come in separate pieces).
I ran the latest/updated Ubuntu with 8 GB on a rather fast usb stick, with the official 27watt power supply.
When I play the game while gnome-system-monitor is open, the ball traversing the tiles becomes slow and visibly dropping frames. Please note that I tried it at the default (as launched originally in 4k, but then I switched to 1080p) 1280x720 resolution, not the 853x480 res.
Also, h264 is absolutely not fast on youtube running on cpu alone. It drops half the frames in 480p, and I witnessed it dropping frames at 144p as well. Both with FF and Chromium. Both on Ubuntu and RaspberyPiOS. However, other times, it only drops a few frames at 720/50p (avc1), and others it drops a lot. It's as if it's unpredictable. Not sure what's going on.
