The point was -and you confirmed it- that a raspberry Pi can not use more than 15W from a large PD power supply.
I did no such thing. If a "large PD power supply" offers a 5A, 5V mode a Pi 5 will use it. If the PSU doesn't it will use 3A, 5V.
After all, why would RPL have added PD to the Pi 5 and produced a PSU with PD and that mode if the Pi doesn't use it?
The PD spec includes but does not mandate 5A, 5V so many PSUs of any wattage do not include it.
I stand by my previous closing remark. You clearly do not understand USB PD or my previous post.

And don't forget that your assertion that a Pi 5 would "probably just crash" on a 3A supply is also completely incorrect.
