I am trying to make a comparison between a dng image developed in JPEG and the JPEG image picamera2/libcamera (RPI5 full resolution).
I am surprised by the difference at the pixel level, the JPEG image has a very strong local contrast.
From left to right, DNG developed JPEG IMX477_scientific.json, JPEG IMX477.json
If I understood the documentation, this is a processing that is done in the ISP with demosaicing and not in libcamera (to be sure I disabled the sharpen algorithm) This local contrast can be interesting (edge sharpening) but sometimes seems a bit exaggerated.
Can we control the parameters of this processing?
