It did not start doing that for me. Interestingly, after I gave up on the 'Create New Project' option, I did try 'Create New Project from Example'. It then downloaded the additional material (which, as you say, takes a looong time) and created the project, apparently correctly. I did also try 'Create New Project' again after this, and again got no further than the initial screen. There is nothing else very vital on this system SD, and the original system on it was an early Bookwork 64 release (repeatedly and fully upgraded since then, of course), so I may simply wipe it and start again from scratch.And looking at it on a fresh install of VS Code on a Pi5, the first time we create a new project, it does not open the new project immediately but starts downloading the SDK 2.0.0 and other resources, which takes a long time....
