blue led blinks when no battery is connected (when charging it is solid blue and off when not charging), when in bootloader the red led should not be dim but glowing/breathing slowly
EDIT: when I switch to bootloader while not connected to usb it is also breathing but much faster, then when I plug it in, it is detected as drive and breathing becomes slower
If it does not work like that then it looks like bad cable or bad usb on the board. I did not get such lemon with bad usb yet but everything is possible.
