Looking back at your photo's you seem to have several other devices (display, camera?) connected and possibly also using GPIO pins for power in/out. My official, P5 PSU is white** not black, but that may be a "country" difference. Hence part of the issue may be power related (hence aBUGS... question). Compare your setup with mine: https://www.cpmspectrepi.uk/raspberry_p ... layer_case... Can you try something similar using a HDMI display, keyboard & mouse etc. and, perhaps, post a picture or link to your PSU?Thanks for the info!
I edited the firmware config.txt file and rebooted but no change. The config.txt can be found here: https://paste.debian.net/hidden/b9f4e1f6
Also, the SSD file setup was not touched or modified from what came out of the box. I unscrewed it and tried to make it match the picture. It didn't seem to have an impact. lspci and df didn't show any change.
Attached are (blurry, sorry) pictures the ssd drive before and after the adjustments of the drive/screw.
Also, sorry I didn't catch what this means: "which PSU do you use?"

(Whilst I do have an official display and several Pi cameras I've never tried using all those "at once" and not with a P5 and the M2Hat+)
