1. I have an USB thumb drive of 256GB, containing RPi OS, some software In installed and some data files.
2. I need to erase USB thumb drive and load different RPi OS for trying out.
3. How to backup the contents so that USB thumb drive can be restored when (2) is finished.
4. I would like to back up on both:
a. another RPi5 with 1TB NVMe
b. Windows11 PC
5. Does backup utility blindly read 256GB and save an image file (I believe it is imilar to CDROM ISO image??) OR it know which space is actually in use and only save those used area. USB thumb drive is 16GB used out of 256GB
