Thanks. I have another problem that I don't know how to correct it. If I set the volume control property in the config.txt file to:
[volume.control]
type = player
amixer.scale = linear
amixer.control = Master
initial.volume.level = 20
maximum.level = 80
I can change the volume of the player but the VU meter stays at 0. However, according to your doc, the type should be amixer and mixer.control should be pcm. If I made the changes to amixer and pcm, I can no longer adjust the volume but the VU meter works,
