I suspect that many people think that tariffs are paid by the country trying to import, not realising that it is the importers and therefore the final consumer who will be paying. It's going to be interesting to watch. Are the USA residents prepared to pay 10 to 20% extra on products from over the boarders? I doubt it will effect Pi products? Is it the country they are made in or the country the company is based in.That wasn't the case last time, and Trump is increasingly proposing purely protectionist "universal tariffs". I recall 10%-20% threatened on all imports and more on some products. It's why so many countries are seriously concerned as to what the future may hold, what effect it will have on the global economy, world order.I don't expect Pi prices to go up in the States as the tariffs are primarily targeted at countries who are related to human trafficking and illegal drug smuggling.
Pi PSU not being made in the UK for example.
