They do, but only for x86 Linux. These won't work on an armhf/aarch64 Raspberry Pi.last thing you can try. Go to the Brother site, download their linux driver for your model.
brother has drivers for most of their printers under linux.
Also, while installing the PPD files used to work to install a printer, but with CUPS you tend to need the whole driver too.
