This looks like a defective Pi 5 SD card to me.

You could try reflashing the bootloader, but that's a long shot and needs the SD card to be working. Using a fresh SD card, use Imager to create a recovery image, insert that in the Pi 5, boot and report back.
Thank you for your response.

I have already tested the SD card on a Raspberry Pi 4, and it works perfectly fine, so I believe the SD card is not defective.

Could you please explain in detail what you mean by "recovery image"? I would appreciate step-by-step instructions on how to create and use it, as I want to make sure I follow the correct process.
Sorry, that should read SD card SLOT. I.e bad hardware.
Thank you for your response.

How does an SD card slot get damaged? I want to clarify that I have not supplied excessive voltage or current to the Raspberry Pi. Could there be any other reason for the SD card slot to fail? I would appreciate your insight on this matter.
