Emergency mode is entered when the Linux kernel can't open the main filesystem. This could be due to corruption on the SD card. The messages before the option menu may help.
Try resizing your screen shot with some graphics package (I use GIMP). Valid pictures are up to 512KB now (I believe).
It may be a fault with the Pi, but the fact the boot got that far suggests it isn't.
Have you tried using a USB stick instead of SD card, or even the SD card in a USB adaptor?
How did you write the card in the first place? Using the Raspberry Imager program is the best way to do that. Did you get any warning messages when writing?
