You can get a precise clock out of RP1 (that's why we have a separate Audio PLL) but yes, the general recommendation is to use a cheap MEMS oscillator or self-contained clock generator.
Sorry yes, was forgetting that the RP1 had that feature. But earlier Pis were never good enough to drive a DAC clock in well.

For the OP, I can vouch for this one, but lots of other good brands around.
