Just because the power supply has a certain nominal rating; doesn't mean that it's suitable for a Pi.In the echer app, I chose the 64-bit os for the pi 5. I think my power supply may not be big enough. I'm using a 3A 5v power supply. I have a 4A I am going to try.
There are pages and pages of problems on here that are down to using an unsuitable power supply.
Use the official power supply. It's cheap and it works.
