Troubleshooting • Problems with USB-devices (SSDs)

Hi,
I have a Raspberry Pi 4, updated to the latest Raspberry OS and running Jellyfin, Syncthing, Nextcloud. All works fine. I have 2 SSDs connected, 1TB SanDisk, 1T Samsung and a Logitech wireless Keyboard (with usb-dongle).

Recently I added a Sandisk USB-stick, which I use to daily backup my SD-card with Raspi-Backup. I started to use a USB3.0 USB-hub when I added the stick. I also bought a new power supply. I had the official 27W 5V 3 A and switched to the official 27W 5V 5A. All worked well for a few days.

Then I removed Kodi. I don't think that's related, but the problem started exactly after that. I removed Kodi, because it froze my system, I think it got stuck reading a folder with a lot of pictures on one of the SSDs.

At first, I didn't see the disks on my desktop any more, but could see them with df -h. While troubleshooting, the disks disappeared completely, even after rebooting. I thought it was the USB-hub and indeed, without that hub everything was OK again. That was yesterday. Overnight, the disks disappeared again. Now I rebooted without the USB-stick and the disks are shown again. So maybe it's the stick? I had this kind of USB-trouble before, with another Pi 4, where it turned out that one specific USB-device had a wrong ID or something like that, and it messed up all connections.

Is it related to: viewtopic.php?t=245931? Or is it possible 2 SSDs and 1 USB-stick need more power?
