Hello,
I run Thonny on a iMac pc, I installed the software on the Pico with the file RPI_PICO_W-20241129-v1.24.1.uf2.
I updated 4 files to the Pico. One is called main.py.
Directory structure on the Pico in Thommy looks like attachment 1.
The main.py file imports some libraries and is used to initiate the variables.
Also it connects to wifi. I have added a sleep function for 5 seconds.
I click on the main.py file in Thommy (of the Pico) and click run.
It runs fine. the code does what it has to do.
But, when I attach the Pico to the power plug (so not on the pc anymore), the code doesn't run.
I thought the main.py should run automatically with a reboot.
I have tried to read articles on the internet, but this hasn't solved my problem.
Hope anybody can help me out of this frustration.
Thank you so much.
Yvonne
