You should probably create a new Topic on whatever it is you're doing, the laser and Temp sensor do not seem to be the same thing. The Ds18B20 sensor I bought had the problem that one of the 10k resistors had to be connected to pin #2 (the one in the middle) but when I measured continuity with the multimeter, I realized that this resistor was not connected or anything. So I simply connected that resistor to PIN 2 and it works now. It is HIGH when there is no laser signal, and LOW when it detects the laser.
So it measures the resistance between PIN 2 and the Vcc PIN, it should give 10k. Otherwise, it is because the resistor terminal is not connected, solder it and that's it.
Confused.
