I have one of these USB Audio Adapters for my Pi 5:

It works well enough with earbuds. I've considered getting either a headset with boom mic (I might have earbuds with a mic on the cable, too), but all the ones I've seen have a single plug. I'm guessing those wouldn't fully work with the above, short of some adapter, right? Presumably some people have a headset with a boom mic and a single plug - how do you make that work with the Pi 5, or any Pi?
Also:
Ignoring the mic element for now, what other audio out options are there for the Pi 5, besides this USB audio adapter dongle, and HDMI audio?
