This is on a Raspberry Pi 3
First of all, does the GPS receiver HAVE to be outside? My iPhone and Garmin watch can get a GPS lock while inside.
I have tried running the included sample GPS script but it just continually returns
I have left it running for a very long time and nothing. I have tried on multiple days too. I tried putting the receiver outside on the windowsill ... still nothing.
Is there anything I can do to test the receiver is working? Can I get to see more info - maybe that it has found some satellites, but not enough?
Is there a replacement GPS receiver available that maybe does a better job in less than fully clear skies? (I'm sure I tested it on one of those days too!?)
