Camera board • Re: How to develop drivers for the unsupported camera IMX415 for Raspberry Pi 5b

I had to put this aside for a few days but I'm back. I was thinking that I may simply have a bad camera. Things that I've tried all along sometimes work and sometimes don't. Right now, I can't get any settings to work. I can not get my RPi4 or my RPi5 to recognize the camera. Messages in the logs are the same as if I don't have a camera connected. Soooooo....... I have another camera on order. Should be here around the first of next week.

As to frame rate, I was getting 14.xxxx. I can't remember the .xxx numbers. I'm going to take the housing off and look at the chip now that I know where it is.

Now that I know how to tell what clock my camera has, I took it apart. Turns out to be 37.125. This is odd because the only way I've ever been able to get it to work was with "clock-frequency=24000000" if I specify a frequency. Mostly it worked when I did not specify any paramaters.
When I used "clock frequency=37125000", I got errors in the logs.[
