If the part was made available someone would come up with a datasheet.
For the DA9090 and DA9091 it appears they exist and the only reason they are not publicly available is because they have NDA requirements attached.

That's how it is and how it's allowed to be. There are arguments for and against allowing that practice to continue and for change which will no longer allow that. I am in the latter camp because of my political and philosophical outlook but there may be a compromise I could accept.
I meant that someone (or a collective) would fiddle around with the chip and document the key points independently of the manufacturer.

Or the real datasheet would be found on an unsecured webserver somewhere and liberated.
