I added the "composite" after the first line; that is how it works on my piI've also been trying to get the analog out on my ri pi zero2w to work.
I've gotten closer following the instructions above however unfortunately while I can now see the color boot screen and the raspberry pi logo with some console info while booting, once it's booted the screen remains blank![]()
I've found a YouTube video sort of alluding to this problem here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dnNsemEO7Mw though it's not on a zero and it doesn't have very.. organized information on the problem.
Could you post your entire config.txt and cmdline.txt ?
I'm wondering if the default declaration of:Isn't screwing something upCode:
# Enable DRM VC4 V3D driverdtoverlay=vc4-kms-v3dmax_framebuffers=2
I'm also remote-ing into the Pi via vnc, idk if this could be the issue but I've seen remote desktop programs mess up Linux video drivers before.
Also you must unplug HDMI, otherwise it won't boot on composite if both HDMI and composite out are connected.
Last but not least, do you have a graphic environment? If so it is possible some settings in the config file are messing up the output. I started from a fresh install; just had to add those entries as mentioned in the previous posts and now it boot up no problem as long as I do not connect HDMI though
