Did you include the bit-depth of 8 in the mode definition?
I've noticed that, although the documentation suggests that setting a width and height in the mode definition should be enough to force the sensor mode to the nearest matching mode, that, at least on an IMX219 with a Pi5, that it seems to need the bit depth as well to get the 1920x1080 mode selected??
