I am sorry I am using C++ libcamera API not python. I am mostly sure your answers applied to both (other than the preserve aspect ratio).

In the libcamera C++ API how does the set if Rectangles passed to the ScalarCrops match the streams? In the order of the StreamRoles passed to generateConfiguration()? What is the behavior if the number of ScalarCrops Rectangles does not match the number of stream requested?
