The Pi Zero 2 handles Web browsing ok so you could use the Web versions of things like Microsoft office to avoid the overhead of screen sharing.
The screen sharing options are limited when you mix Windows with Linux. There are a whole bunch of settings. I made it work for static screens but not high end video. I had to drop resolution or frame rates.
You mention Zero 2w. I assume you use WiFi. 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz? The Zero 2 has only 2.4 GHz and in our area 2.4 GHz is swamped for hours each day. For us, 5 GHz is many times faster as few people use it. A Pi 4 is the minimum for 5 GHz and in our area, the entry level Pi 4 is about the same price as a 3B+ and not much different to a Zero 2 when you add in the power supply and everything else.
Some of my Zero 2 projects ended up needing a USB hub. A Zero 2 + hub cost about the same as the minimum Pi 4 which already has all the USB I need for those projects.
The Zero 2 works well with the Pi keyboard as the Pi keyboard has a hub built in for the mouse. I use different keyboards so need another USB port for the mouse which means a USB hub. The cost of your final combination will be different based on your choices for what is plugged into the Zero 2.
