Hello to all of you.

I'm starting a project to construct a robot that sorts trash, and I need some advice on a few important points. My objective is to use self-learning AI algorithms to build a system that uses a Raspberry Pi to operate DC motors and electromagnets depending on visual input from a camera. This is where your knowledge is needed:

Raspberry Pi Electromagnet Control: I'm looking for guidance on how to use a Raspberry Pi to create and operate an electromagnet efficiently. Using orders from the Raspberry Pi, I want the electromagnet to be able to attract and repel specific metallic items. I would be grateful for any advice on the necessary hardware and how to connect it to the Raspberry Pi.

DC Motor Connection to Raspberry Pi:I need assistance wiring and programming two DC motors so they can react to visual cues that a camera detects as part of my project. Ideally, the motors should change their direction or speed in response to what the camera detects. How can I successfully integrate this?

Putting Self-Learning AI into Practice: One of the main objectives I have is to enable the robot to use AI to learn from its environment. I see the system changing its behaviour over time in response to the things it comes across and sorts. Exist any particular AI frameworks or libraries that would be appropriate for this kind of work? And how can I easily include them with the Raspberry Pi?

I welcome any recommendations, tutorials or other tools that will enable me to overcome these obstacles. Your knowledge and experience in similar projects would be much appreciated if you have any past experience.

Thanks in advance.
