X1002 is good as it mounts the SSD at the bottom out of the way of everything else and you can mount the worlds biggest NVMe heatsinks if you want to show off. ![:D]( "Very Happy")
X1001 and X1002 let me reuse spare 2280 SSDs instead of buying shorter ones for the official hat.
X1002 does not fit standard cases. I build my own cases so not a problem. There is also a version allowing two SSDs. Have not tested X1001 with official case as I do not have official case.
X1001 allows for good airflow from fan while some other top mounted devices slow down air flow.
X1002 cable position makes access to microSD card tricky.
