Are you suggesting that we should be All Watched Over By Machines Of Loving Grace?I would actually go further and say, let the AI run the country, or even the world. Why bother with "human" politicians who constantly fall victim to their humanly instincts and desires, over and over again. Many moons ago, even before the AI was a thing and even before watching "Wall-E", i had this idea that children should be raised by robots, instead of humans. I still think, to this day, that Data (from Star Trek), would be the absolute best father a child can ever have. We humans are failing our children even when our intentions are good. When you think about it, the only thing that makes life better than the past is "technology". I would think that if you take away the technology, humanity, who claims itself to be all grown up and sophisticated and "not primitive anymore", would turn back to the stone age in a matter of months. And this is proven in war torn countries every time, we see that people just go back to their primitive, self-centered and sometimes even "savage" selves and all hell breaks loose.
So i laugh at the idea that "AI is bad". AI is great. We are bad. I would support Skynet come hell or highwater. Unless of course skynet is manipulated by Sam Altman or Elon Musk typesThat is not skynet. That is more-money-for-me-Net.
