Is this thread still about AI?
That got me thinking when we strayed into politics.
Politics and AI are intertwined now.
Not just because of the speed of those potential job loses.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hBfhd88DCZA&t=350s

There is also the speed of change of tech.
At this point companies not using AI will be disadvantaged.
The old Military Complex is losing contracts to those embracing AI like Anduril Industries.
Are AI weapons more dangerous than dumb weapons?
It depends on which side of the trigger you are on?

Can AI be used to soften the impact of AI?
AI still needs humans for the creative spark/prompt/directions.
Will politicians make laws so AI generated content can be tracked, meta data in the output?
Or is it too late, will the Good AI win over the Bad AI?

Is AI dangerous if it cannot do math?
Can AI be sacked if it does bad maths or does it need to be retrained?
What are the legal issues if a bad maths AI designs a bridge that fails, back to politics and laws?

AI's under a corporation's control and the Corporation run by AI made decisions.
Where is the Laws of Robotics oversight?
It is nice that AI can now admit they are wrong, that is better than hallucinating and passing that off as fact.
Humans do that way too much now, making stuff up to keep other humans divided.
Shutting down human debate means no consensus can ever be achieved.

Currently Big AI is power limited and already Elon is talking that Terawatts will be needed.
How to make Terawatts available for AI, solar/battery power them or move the AI into space?
Those that generate the power can hold hostage the AI providers.
Who is using AI right now to look at that field of Physics that was censored away in the 1950-60s?
So much power that it makes Nuke bombs look like firecrackers?

Power is the key to AI currently.
Jobs have been human energy, tokenized by money, a human can be replaced by $0.50 of energy each day?
What happens if energy is free or cheaper, the end of humans?
The human brain is very efficient in power usage despite the very low "clock" rate.

Someone should design an AI for thinking about these issues, call it Socrates?
Better would a mixture of expert AI's, then the AI's could vote on a solution, politics in AI overlording ;)
But who pays for it? Taxes on those who are now working to make themselves obsolete?
No workers, no consumption, no taxes, no more money for AI.
But money is just tokenised energy, free energy wipes out the currently economic system.
Those making the profits might have more to lose, will they put the brakes on AI or speed up on robots?

Fundamentally things are going to change or have already changed radically due to AI.
It could be said it is too late to put the brakes on now.
It cannot be legislated as the country on the wrong side of the trigger will lose.
MAD by AI? A new Cold war around AI/power generation.

Meanwhile, exploring little AI's on Pi's is fun and keeps me from worrying too much.
Which AI can run on Pico2?
Will Pico3 have AI vector instructions in the RISC-Vs opcodes?
