I would like to enable Midi on the GPIOs of the Pi 5 with
dtparam=uart0
dtoverlay=midi-uart0
And that should enable midi in and out on two GPIO pins, that i would connect with an octocoupler etc.
Been there already on the Pi Pico and Nano. Simple script running. All Clear.
Raspi Pi 5? Not clear.
Pipewire? Either not so clear...
I don't know what happens after I enabled the GPIOs...
If I open a DAW like Ardour, will I be able to see the Midi in and Out???
Or I do have to run a script somewhere so the Pi knows these two enabled Midi Pins has to work inside the OS as a Midi device???
Or with Pipewire I have to change some settings ... like there is a Qcontrol with the GPIO that I need to virtually route to... somewhere...?
