I guess that is right. However I find it curious to limit an eccentric but valid configuration in the world of open source. It sounds more like something Apple would do. But I guess I will have to learn to fix it myself, if you are right and I want it fixed

Fully acceptable solution. Did anyone write a guide for this somewhere? I still haven't tested that command from a few posts up, if that turn out to be adequate, I apologize.You can still use the legacy Display Driver for your use case.
