There are no regulators on the board. The MCU is powered by 3.3V, which is supplied either through the CSI connector (J2) or the serial connector (X3). Pins J2.15 and X3.4 are electrically connected and share the same power route.

When the board is used to bridge the camera and the Raspberry Pi, the serial connection can be left unconnected, as it is not required for autofocus control. In setups where the CSI connector is not used, lens control is performed via the serial one.

The X2 connector is used solely to supply 5V to the lens motor via the power switch.
