I use the Hatdrive! Nano (still available from Pihut) with the official case and Pi Nvme as it only does 2230 and 2242. It fits in the official Pi5 case with the active cooler. To give myself a better thermal margin I reprofiled the fan curve a bit, put taller feet under the case, and used spacers to fit the hat to the the pillars under the hat that fix it to the pi5 board - this had the effect on raising the case lid 3 or 4mm higher. Whether these steps we necessary I don't know but performance with them has been excellent.
