Hi All,
I have been running a plex server on a Pi 4 for a few years. The operating system has been run from an SSD attached via Geekworm's X825 v2.0 board, with power provided by the X735.
Media has historically been stored on an external USB drive via a powered USB hub. I would like to remove the external USB from the equation and instead store all media on the SSD drive (500Gb), if all is well I intend to replace this with a larger drive in time.
However, I am not certain what best practice is in terms of storing media on the SSD - should I simply place this on the root drive, or should I instead partition and mount the excess space under /mnt/? Or is there perhaps some other best practice that has not occurred to me?
Thanks,
Jim
