I have a RPi 4 and the official display. I'm looking at putting together some kind of organiser / admin system, based around the principles of GTD. I also want it to be able to control music stored locally. I also have a Fossil smart watch laying around. The last update on the watch, it had Wear OS 2.0. I have no idea what is current in this area, but the watch still functions ok, albeit a bit slowly.
Is there a way to link the RPi and the watch? Controlling the music, receiving reminders, calendar alerts, alarms, general admin bits and pieces. I'm happy to figure out the details, and need to see what's possible with the watch. I'd prefer to avoid turning the Pi into an Android device and just linking using Wear OS. I'd much prefer to have something else if it's doable (even if it means messing with the watch a bit).
