Pi5 display is quite fast as long as it's about simple apps. When using firefox the graphic display becomes sluggish. More details :
The Pi5 has 4GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD module from which it boots. The OS started out as raspiOS Lite to which XFCE was added. It now boots and runs in desktop mode. Everything was relatively recently updated. It boots very fast, the desktop itself has no issues.
When using firefox, a simple page like the weather channel that uses an horizontal scrolling for showing days of the week is rendered in a sluggish way. It sems as if something is missing graphics wise (which is not my specialty). Could it be that there's some accelerator that needs to be added to the setup ? How can I check for a proper graphic software setup ? Could it be that's expected with only 4GB of RAM ?
