My experience with peripherals has more or less been, that if it works on linux on a pc, then it will work with a pi the same (with debian lets say since that's the os that raspberry pi os is based on)... (Of course I'm speaking of usb peripherals here)...
so far I've not found a counterexample, so if it runs well on debian stable, it'll probably run well on a pi.
