So...two things, I guess.You can manually edit /usr/sbin/wayvnc-run.sh to enable the burned-in cursor again
First, I looked at wayvnc-run.sh, and wayvnc/config...nothing jumped out at me as configuring cursor behavior. Can you provide a specifc change?
Second, I'm not sure how RealVNC is handling the cursor when Use Local Cursor is set to True...but it seems to be doing the right thing - cursor shape changes as it passes over different screen elements. So maybe it's doing exactly what's needed with the change you just made?
