For sale • Icepi Zero - FPGA dev board in a familiar Pi Zero form factor (That is also a pi hat!)

Hello all!

I've recently made an ECP5 FPGA that takes on the Pi Zero form - and after having a lot of people asking to buy one, I've launched it on crowd supply ! (https://www.crowdsupply.com/icy-electronics/icepi-zero)

This dev board can either act as a standalone tool or a co-processor HAT for a normal Raspberry Pi Zero. Use it to accelerate your pi, learn about FPGAs or do cycle-accurate emulations of retro systems!



Some of it's main features:

• Lattice ECP5U FPGA with 24k LUTs and an open source programming toolchain

• 256 Mbit of SDRAM

• 128 Mbit QSPI Flash

• 50 MHz high precision MEMS oscillator

• Same ports as the Pi Zero, but with USB-C (And one additional programming port)

It can help the Pi Zero perform parallel computation tasks like machine learning acceleration or video processing, act as a retro-console or just be a general introductory console - It is supported by Icestudio (https://icestudio.io/, currently hosted on a fork) which allows you to program FPGAs via an GUI.
