Troubleshooting • Re: No HDMI from Pi 4B

Your rant is one of the reasons why Raspberry Pi OS doesn't use X11 any longer. They've switched to Wayland.

With your guidance regarding Wayland I started over.

1) Fresh image of RPi OS, boot -> no HDMI
2) Update and upgrade all, reboot -> no HDMI
3) used raspi-config to choose Wayland and Labwc, reboot -> no HDMI
5) echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE -> tty (that doesn't seem good)
4) Tried to start Wayland manually via ssh ("wayfire-pi") -> Errors!
5) Piped errors to text tile for review:
