Thanks for this. I've attempted to use a Pi alongside other streamers over the years, including the Boxee Box (anyone remember that?), Nexus Player and GoogleTV/Chromecast. I'm using a soundbar/home-theater amp with ARC, and it doesn't matter if I plug both the Chromecast and the Pi into the amp, or just one into the amp and the other into an alternate TV HDMI input; no matter the arrangment, CEC control fails when the Pi is connected and running. Hope a fix is forthcoming.Posting this in case someone else stumbles into the same weird interaction between Raspberry Pi video drivers and HDMI ARC, especially on newer TVs.
