Hi Bensimmo

Are you talking about the Bosch BME 280 sensor?

Smart plugs are basic and I haven't been able to find one that can do what I want it to do. Which is being able to change the wattage/voltage so it can adjust the temps/humidity. Which is why I have gone this route. Smart plugs would have been the easiest route by far but they don't suite the particular wants and needs.
Your heating elements and humidifiers are going to be slow devices, so can be turned on and off for long periods (several minutes) to have any effect. Direct PWM control of the heating element itself might be desirable, but not necessary.
