To be blunt, I have never worked with a Raspberry Pi before, I am trying to install an on-board wire feeder into my plasma welder, and I want to be able to us the data given from welder power supply (different wire feed speed) to regulate the wire feed speed on a on-board wire feeder, preferably wirelessly. Is there a set of boards and accessories I can use that can take changing current and track it as data and then send that to another board that will use that data to regulate the current to the on-board wire feeder?
