USB quit working on my Raspberry PI 4B. The mouse, keyboard, and external disk drive all just disappeared. My only access is through remote login.
Searching the board, this appears to be a known problem. My question is, is there a known fix or workaround?
One suggestion was to revert to an older version of the software. Which version should I revert to? I am currently running the latest Bookwork download, and ran apt upgrade today.
This has happened on two 4Bs with two sets of keyboards and mice. I've tried only one external drive. It was working a couple of days ago when I first booted up the PI after moving it. I am using this Pi 4B because the same problem happened on my other Pi 4B. Thinking the problem might be power related, I bought a new "certified" power supply. And a couple of other folks have complained about the same problem. I don't think this is a problem with my hardware.
Thanks!

Perhaps the person who made the suggestion could advise?
But if I were pursuing that approach I would revert first to RasPiOS Bullseye; then to RasPiOS Buster if necessary; and so on back through the release history.
However, I think it more likely that some action you are performing is creating a partial, persistent, power supply issue on the RPi4B boards.
